Really tasty takeaway. Nice to chat with the staff whilst we waited (not too long) and then very refined flavours really rich sauces, my wife and I really enjoyed our meal and will definitely go again.
I went to this restaurant today (16.08.17) for lunch on the spur of the moment. I have been once before with friends and have had a few deliveries too. I was not disappointed. I ordered the salmon bhuna with lemon rice and a glass of Pinot. It was delicious and presented with a generous salad garnish. There was plenty of fresh coriander in the sauce and scattered liberally on top - I adore fresh coriander. The flavours were lovely. I would have had a coffee, but they only do instant!!! At £3.25 per cup! No thanks. The service was good and I chatted to the waiter whilst I waited for my meal. I love this place. It is the best Indian Restaurant around and in Wallingford. I highly recommend that you give it a whirl. Do book for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Lush.

The staff and the Wallingford Tandoori, made a real effort with being on the ball with table service. Other than missing out a glass of wine (which was due to an error) everything else was spot on and we were always asked if we had everything we needed. The food is reasonably priced and is really tasty. There is a large variety to choose from and sometimes can be a little overwhelming, however in the end you do find the dish you want. The restaurant is cosy, it is not very big inside however that keeps table management good. Overall our meal was really good and I would definitely recommend coming here for an Indian meal.
Love the food. Went with some friends on Saturday. Very friendly staff. Good selection of starters. Best Tarka daal. Defo coming back.

After hearing all the reviews about this place thought I would give it a try. Service was really quick considering how busy it was. Food was of a decent quality and can say was a lot better than most of the high street chain restaurants. The only let down is the no substitutions bit on the breakfast as there is certain bits that I don't like and would have been nice to have them exchange for something of equal value. During the week they do a free coffee with the breakfast, before 10:00, which would be amazing if they done it a weekends as well. Dog friendly as well even though I didn't take mine with me, but they do have a seating area where you can have them.
We've recently moved to the area and have visited The Waterfront Cafe twice now. Virtually identical service both times and by that I mean it was fast and efficient. Although not fantastic weather at the moment it's still nice to sit outside by the river and you certainly can't beat the location of this cafe. Lovely place to eat or chill out and we definitely rate the food. I imagine it gets quite busy sometimes but they are more than geared up for the volume. You'll be surprised by the amount of tables on your first visit! Pricing is spot on too in my opinion. Well worth a visit.
